| Locram the accepted definition of "racist" only covers racial groups not nationalities. Yankees could mean any nationality living in North America and so its really just a bit of nationalistic bravado the same as someone making fun of me for being a Brit. Its not really "racist" |
i live in north america and i hate to be called a yankee.
The thing is that we play in a vitual world where there are elves, demons, dark elves and so on; why do someone come with his doctrine.
Few like yankees like few like russians and so on...
Yankees are people living in USA.
I am sure that if i would say come on lets kill all the russians i would be block.
It has nothing to do here. We play and that is all. I should not have to talk about all this. Comments like this should not be. |

ok, let me explain the way I see it:
1. That player was expecting only Americans to be on this server, that's why referred as Yankies.
2. Be destroyng he was simply meaning smashing etc. in a game specific way i.e. his team wins, opponents lose, as simple as that.
3. Chauvinistic irony, Soviets(Commies) vs Americans(Yankies),i.e Cold war era |
