When i use "hat of knowledge" , i have 40 mana (normal is 30). so, if i have 0 mana left after a battle , equipping hat of knowledge will make it longer to restore?(since i hv to restore 40 points) or without hat of knowledge?

| no it will not as any amount of mana you have , it will take exactly 30 minutes to restore your mana fully if it is 0 . So in comparison , if you need only 20 mana for a fight and want to be quick then equipping the hat of knowledge will cause the 20 mana to be restored faster than without it . |
| #1 No, it doesn't matter how much mana you have or if it's lowered or increased while being recovered. It recovers percent-wise and to fully recover it takes 30 minutes. When you join a battle, the percent you are at is multiplied to your maximum mana and then rounded if required. |

Sorry but i didnt get you.
I wanted to ask that , suppose i wanna have 30 mana for a battle but i wear hat of knowledge during restore time, will i get 30 mana faster then? when i get 30 , i can unequip hat and use wizard cap for the battle? |
| the only way i know of restoring mana faster is with a mana tube, if u equiped an artifact which gave you more mana than you originally had wouldnt it take longer to restore as u had more mana? so no equiping hat of knowledge will not restore your mana faster... |

Let me rephrase post #3 on your example.
You have 30 mana maximum at the moment. If you would wear a hat of knowledge, your maximum mana would increase to 40.
Supposing your mana is recovering, if you wait until only 30 mana from the maximum 40 is restored, it would mean you restored only 75% of your total mana!
If you then remove the hat of knowledge, your maximum mana would be 30 again. But you only restored 75% of your maximum mana which is now 30, that means you will only have 0.75 * 30 = 22.5 mana (rounded up or down, I don't really know).
You would still have until 100% if you want to have 30 mana without hat of knowledge. The waiting time would be same even if you wear a hat of knowledge while recovering and even if you don't. You're not recovering mana points, you're recovering percents! |
