you have goods - noone buys your goods - you don't have money...
someone buys your goods - you have money to produce more goods and pay your workers salary...
hope you understand basics of market&economy now...

A while ago there was people complaint that the ore's price is too high because ore shortage occured..now the ore is in surplus status so no one want to buy those steel/nickel..then makes the machinery 0 gold into it..
