the combat field needs to go back to 10x10


Why? To forfeit again the thieving of all wizards? We have a right to be naughty too!

well then how bout make it 50% chance of being 10x10, and 50% chance of the huge map

I agree completely. It's just the way this game was made. You have to deal with it. It is unfair for wizards if they have a small field.
If this is implemented, im sure we'd be havin several players whining about Knights having an advantage (overpowered) in thief combats . . .

You just said its unfair for 10x10 field because wizard gains a disadvantage. But its ok to have bigger field were wizard gains a HUGE advantage and can make combats last 3 hours+.

Where is the logic in that? How is it fair to make one race IMBA in anyone combat type. The game cannot go on like this eventually wizards and Mage DE's will become unkillable. There spells will do SO much damage they just run around in circles for 5 turns and obliterate everything.

There needs to be balance between might AND magic so neither one has a HUGE advantage.

10x10 gives might an advantage <-- Also requires skill
18x18 gives a HUGE advantage to wizard and mage DE

Also you all haven't considered 1 MAJOR factor. Since the field got changed some major updates have happened. Now wizards have firewall and summon elemental 2 of the best defense spells in the game. Using kusika's wizard tactic in either field will win you just as many ambushes because of the sheer damage from firewall. Only difference being that one field takes twice as long and wastes peoples time.

In future before posting and just bashing something...Look from the POV of EVERY race not just 1 or 2.

Oh and you also forgot that i main DE so i dont have the above problem on this server. And i recently found that delaying combat like the above on the RU is against the rules.

Just my 2 cents take it or leave how you want.

So upon yourself, all wizards should wait until level 14 to join the thief guild, right?

It is so HUGE (couldn't find a larger font, sorry!) because in the 10x10 wizards have no chance! In the 18x18 they win sometimes, so yeah, it is REALLY HUGE!...
the gargoyle would get the same amount of speed as you 1+ so whats the point of that your just gonna end up with the garg being faster than you.

Mostly because as others mentione +1 speed would be equal to both so no real effect...unless it lasts A LONG TIME lol.

Again get your facts right...wizards can ambush before 14 without running and i know they can because i do it on the RU. And ive won ambushes with faction skill 2 without running away.

The speed increase comes into affect once you can clear the field in 2 moves. The problem is gargs can be speed 9 and gaurdians speed 4. So even with fervour and morale you still only get 2 moves to there 1 IF you morale twice in a row. In which case you hit them once and they start running again.

for Redh:
You can but i dont advice...They have 16 hp and will die ALOT faster then most units.
This is how this game was made.
Knight is the most powerfull faction in this game. Problem is only you want to win with one build all factions. All faction can win against wizzard - depends of your talents and army.
