Which is the better upgrade to our humble forest keepers
Elite forest keepers

Everybody loves battledance but with +1 speed and marginally better stats are forest brethren an upgrade on our beloved efks?

Group battles - definitely efks.
Hunts - definitely forest brethren, maybe efks if they are large creatures.
Merc quests - usually forest brethren (definitely for monsters).
Duels - Forest brethren.
Survival tourneys - Forest brethren.
I am not a thief yet, but I think efks would be better there. |
| I would also take efks. Battle dance is very useful in group battles and in hunt/mc quest. However, I would take forest brethren in ST since battle dance is not very useful. |
forest brethen stats is better than efk.
but in group battle, efk is better than forest brethen due to their battle dance while st and monster quest sure forest brethen. |

EFK are powerful but gets killed early in the combat;
forest brethren don`t have the battle dance but with higher damage and defense,i believe in somehow,they overpower EFK
especially on some TG battles when the first turn of EFK kills weak units and gets killed before the next turn;while forest brethren will last much longer and quiet the advantage on defense it would be a nasty thing to play with..the same thing in duels and MG
in ST it wouldn`t need much of clarification to suggest that the brethrens are better than EFK
and in hunts then EFK would finally be considered better than the brethrens with their battle dance
either way anyone can point to the good and bad stuff on both of them,it is up to you to see which works better for you;
just like the differences with skeletal bowmen and legionnaires :D |
| well, i ve tried both on the original game HoMM V with the ToE addon, and i really prefer the EFKs... The battle dance is so powerfull against many stacks! |
