 | can i sell ma arts at ny price i want? | | Simple answer: NO.
More complicated answer: If you sell arts for (too much) more/less than they're worth, then it'll be considered financial assistance. There're more than a few cheaters who launder gold through arts...
 | | Even more complicated answer: If you are selling shop arts, it will be a financial assist and you could get a penalty if the price is too high. If you are sell non-shop arts (hunter arts, thief arts, etc.), there is no definite price so you would have a little more freedom when choosing the price. Just remember that it must be close to the market price.
Example: I have a hunter broadsword. The market price is currently 200. You could put a price of, say 300, and hope that someone stupid would buy that artifact. However, if you sell it for 2000, it will probably be a financial assist and you will get a penalty.
