Lordswm pets

i think this was suggested (at least once before) though with mounts specific to each faction type. possibly received by getting a Stables or some such structure in the Castle.

and most likely they'd function in battle as the Lord does presently (outside of the battle grid and acting only to strike once or cast spells - which would negate the +5% pet health thing).

regardless, i thought the addition of pets/mounts was a good idea way back when...
would it be like a computer controlled character or one you control yourself
Mounts have been tested on ru, I believe, and rejected by players. Mainly cos the mounts only increased travel speed between regions.
I would like it if it helps you in fights and stuff like when its new year and you get a new year lion for the day... that sort of thing...

That's useful in and of itself! Why would .ru players think they weren't good enough to be implemented? Especially seeing as how admins had already finished with the basic coding and stuff...


Raising the pets should involve the player being fairly active. Logging in at least once every day, for example (to pet/feed/otherwise take care of your pet). There could be another guild (in the form of a mini-game) we could play to level up our pet. The Guild's levels would correspond to the level of the pet. It shouldn't be too hard to get a pet either (should be easier than getting a TGI for one thing) and those who have even a high level pet on their side shouldn't be overpowered enough to pawn someone without the benefit of having a pet on their side. <<-- I'm assuming that the pets will give (small) bonuses to Hero stats, of course.

the guild could be like a pet training grounds where they have to complete challenges to get guild points the better you did the more points.but why shouldn't it give a good bonus thieves guild gives extra ini but no-one cares about that being unfair on people who haven't
i rather take care real pets than take care of toypets in game sorry -1
idea is realy good ! and heroeswm.com can get some money like put price of pets in diamonds like 10 diamond !
And I would rather get real gold than game-gold :(

As someone who is in the Thieve's Guild I can tell you that the extra initiative is overrated. YES, it is useful and can be a deciding factor in a same faction/arts/level duel. But in most other battles, it's barely noticeable. We should strive to do something similar with the pet system. Get just enough extra stats to be useful in the long run, but not enough for you to become too strong.
6 It could be like that but i was thinking u could control it in and out of battle with your original troops.. i was thinking if people wanted they could battle each others pets
