I think that it should be possible to track only a part of the creatures when hunting. After reaching hg lvl 3, player could be able to track only some of the creatures, but get only some of the gold.
For example, you have a red hunt and only min ap, so you could decide to track 40% of the creatures, getting 40% of the gold and 40% lower chance for looting arts.
The actual percentage of the hunt could be 15% different than you wanted, so you would get 25%-55% of the creatures, gold and chance to loot arts.

Why should this be done?
How many fsp? How many HG points? Will it have any impact in creature growth?
Is it even logical? If you encounter a group of 100 hell horses for example, how is it possible that you can decide to fight about only 40 of them when they are all together in one big herd?

Well, fsp, xp, hg points, creature growth and anything else is, of course, as many % as there are creatures.

Waiting for a perfect moment, luring some of them away from the rest etc.
Well, since everything is proportionate... In other words, hunts never get any harder do they?
Lets say you had a 100 creature hunt.

If you hunt everything, increase is 30% = 130 creatures next time.

If you hunt 50%, increase is 30%*0,5 = 115 creatures next time.
+1 BUT how will ur hunt creatures be distributed when there are very few online?

Anything to make the game more interesting!
Let me get this straight.
You just basically allowed us to hunt forever.
Start by killing 100%
When you can barely kill 100%, kill only 50%.
Repeat as many time as required, you can even go down to 1%
Oh, wait, what if the hunt is like 999999 hydras? Then hunt 0.001%!
Unless there is a limit to how low you can hunt...
Minimum could be about 30%, and hunting the 0.0001% would be pointless, because you would get 0 gold, 1xp, 0.000005 fsp, 0.000001 hg points and you arts would still lose 1 durability

thats a good idea but it should be tweaked a bit because say you keep doing that and you get like 90000 shrews then you go for 30% then next time there will still me more.

Also i just realised what about the 70%? do you fight them slowly and if so wont it take a while?

Right now people ask for hunt assist to do difficult hunts and to tweak the hunt increase. It just doesn't seem logical for someone to ask you to kill 40 farmers while he only wants to kill 10.

You dont fight the 70%, but you lose 70% of everything you normally gain in hunt

so if you fight like 50% of 200 shrews and survive and want somthing easer you wont because you said If you hunt 50%, increase is 30%*0,5 = 115 creatures next time. then you would still fight more!
