Can anyone tell me? |
Q:I can never hit those ghosts... Is there a pattern?
A:The probability of hit/miss of a physical strike is 50%. However, each incorporeal creature has a hit/miss counter. If there were 2 consecutive hits, the third strike will be a compulsory miss, and vice versa. Consecutive hits and misses are counted as well. Any magic applied to an incorporeal stack resets its personal hit/miss counter. Elemental damage has a 100% chance to hit. |
Remember that magic punch will not resets its personal hit/miss counter. |
how to reduce the misses when attacking a ghost
use chaos |
Rawrawr.
Ghosts have a 50/50 chance to be hit by physical attacks.
Ghosts have a 100% chance to be hit by magical attacks , e.g. anchorites( oh god how much I hate them).
Also use magic.
(magic punch seems to be different. It's a 50/50 chance to hit a ghost with magic punch.) |
magic punch doesnt do elemental damage with is what spells do E.G. lightning does air elemental damage. magic punch does physical damage which is what troops dp |
better split you stacks, take retal with once and reduce misses with hero atk then atk with big stacks. |
Take retal, and keep a count of all the hits and misses on each stack. When there are 2 misses on a stack, attack it next with a big stack. When there are 2 hits on a stack, attack it next with 1 garg.
reduce misses with hero atk
Don't do that, you're a wiz, your hero is the "biggest stack" of all. |
Any magic applied to an incorporeal stack resets its personal hit/miss counter.
I believe that it doesn't apply to raise dead (as well as any holy or dark spell). |
for Slust:
true about raise dead but holy and darkness does reset it |
thks. the informations are vey useful ^^ |
Slust:
may i ask what do you mean by doesn't apply to raise dead?
tk. |
when a necromancer raises ghosts it goes like this.
ghosts-2 hits definetly a miss and vice versa
before the ghosts died the were hit 2 times then the necro raises them and its definetly a miss whereas any other magic would mean it could be a hit or miss |
but holy and darkness does reset it
Incorrect.
Only chaos magic can reset the hit-miss counter. Darkness/holy/nature do not. |
Incorporeal:
Physical attacks against this creature are only 50% likely to be successful. However, there is no way that three consecutive hits or three consecutive misses take place on every particular stack. After two consecutive hits a compulsory miss will occur, and vice versa. Incorporeal does not concern magical attacks against this creature. "Any magic (except the "Raise dead" spell) applied to this creature also resets the consecutive hits & misses counter to 0." |
so, when chaos magic was applied, it will come back to miss again? then if chaos magic miss the incorporeal, the next attack would also be a miss. if chaos magic hit the incorporeal, the next hit would also be a miss?
how if i use magic to hit the other monster which is not incorporeal, it would also be reset? |
for darrensea:
chaos magic will hit no matter what.but after it's hit the counter resets.so there is a chance that you hit/miss the ghost for 5 hits(including magic hit) |
"Any magic (except the "Raise dead" spell) applied to this creature also resets the consecutive hits & misses counter to 0."
Chaos Spell (damages spell) reset for sure, but i cannot imagine slow, disruption spell (dark and holy), reseting the consecutive hits and miss counter or may be i m wrong here |
