Not correct. Faction skill resistance applies to both physical and magic damage.

Soturi - It really depends what enemy you're fighting. Against shooters or casters, or in pvp, it's better to split them into 2 or 3 equal stacks. In hunts against slow neutrals, usually better to have 1 stack of shrews, and have a few stacks of 1 poisoner to take retal for lizards. In hunts against large creatures (non-shooter), might be good to use stacks of 1 shrew to protect your main shrew stack by blocking them.

i want to ask that, r poisoners really necessary for us. they r very costly so i cant understand that shall i build them on level 6 or not.
they are not a must but it is good to have them.
as i mention before in the previous post, poisoners have higher initiative than lizard so you can directly charge your enemy after retal has taken by poisoners.
I love posioners (i call it assasins)

they have a high initiative, can be a nice tanker, do alot dmg, same dmg than rogues because number high and do almost double dmg than normal minotaur...

Can do a support job, like shooting to posion enemy shooters weakers, like elven bowman (low hp but high dmg, perfect target for posion)

And also walk good and can take enemey retalation for make combos.

You ask if they are necessary, yeah i think they are necessary, you just need learn to use they on battle field.

They can be a awesome unit, or can be a crap useless unit.

Its very rare see a DE using they and more rare a DE using right, there are basic tips...

They aren't shooters.

Shooting they have penalty this give -50% dmg
Out shoot range give more -50%

-50% + -50% = 25% total dmg, also range dmg do 90% of total. only melee do 100% (This rule inclues all creatures)

So its like 20% total dmg if u use they to be shooters, ins't a good idea...

Only do that if you really need, also they can do some cool things shooting, like take succubi retalation or waste all succubi shoots (i did some times and works, just don't try on succubi upgrade)

Use they with ur army, they are melee but they aren't invenssible, no one unit can do any shit alone, use army together.

At geral its a nice tactically unit, thats why i like it, tanker, dps, support, take retalation and can be used to land control or mess enemy movement

for masterahul: i'm only using few poisoners for taking retaliation, because they can move before lizard and minotaur. I never take full poisoners as might dark elf cause we must choose between shrew or poisoners.

If you also do a lot of PVP, they are nice, elf bowmen's worst nightmare :) At level 5-7 (pre-shrew), they are one of the most effective way to beat elves
thnxx for the help.i also want to ask one more question. is MAGIC GUILD necessary? bcoz i dont have much mana(20) and spellpower(1). i can build only one thing either magic guild or poisners.
For pvp battles i think magic is better, give you a tatical advantage, but to hunting might is better.

If is necessary ins't. you can do pvp with might build, i just recomend if you wanna be magic, be full magic, and if you wanna be might be full might.

Remove this two points on 1 SP 1 Knowledge and put on attack power.

The only exception is a hybrid darkness + might. You can start that at level 8+
I my opinion lvl 5-7 might DE is pretty good in PvP with max minos.

Just stay out from the range of the shooters and there is no problem, minos are almost as strong as many level 4 creatures
Shaocan: why poisoners don't do normal 100% damage, when the enemy is in their range? Where can I read that?

Yup, and also range attacks don't do 100% total dmg, its do 95% total damage, so it is 95% - 50% - 50%

It's like 23% dmg or something like that...

But posion awalys can be helpfull, you can use it to kill elvensbowmans, or take succubi shoots, spliting posioners with 1 stack...

You have alot things to do with posioners, they are a nice unit tatical.
Hmm... I thought, ranged damage is 100%. I cannot find anything describing smaller damage in the help section. Where is this info coming from?

I have changed my faction from wiz to DE; I have only 1 faction skill level
Following are my queries for my level (lvl 7)-
What will be the best talent set for me?
Should i play might or magic?
Which recruiting should i choose for now?
Should i do hunt and mgs or duels GBs?

I will be greatly thankful to all of you for answering :)
