AuthorA good way or not?
For earning a better Fsp : Exp Ratio, Is it better to Ask Assistance for every hunt ( Easy and Hard ) or just the hard ones? Which will gain me a better ratio ?
Also, are there more chances or looting Artifacts by Hunt Assistance or Random?
Also, Is Looting Artifacts totally Random or Some Formula ?
Ask for all hunts. Asking for assist and splitting the fsp actually gives you the same exp/fsp ratio as not asking for assist and is much simpler and also gets you more chances to get a drop (more hunts for the same exp/fsp).

Chance of looting an artifact is <HG Rank + 2> %, regardless of hunting alone or with assistance.

The assistance also gets her own chance of getting an artifact too. (which is good..)
i m still thinking that loot % is (3 + HG level)%... In my case 3+7=10% to loot but as said before, 1% won't change most of your loot!
for Takesister:
I didn't understand :
actually gives you the same exp/fsp ratio as not asking for assist
AND
nd also gets you more chances to get a drop but Chance of looting an artifact is <HG Rank + 2> %, regardless of hunting alone or with assistance.

You said two things and then said against them....
If you ask for assistance, your hunts grow less in strenght, more hunts, more loot, more gold wasted for artifacts, more gold earned for winning.

If you have time to ask for assistance it should be profitable for both of you in many ways..
and also gets you more chances to get a dropbut Chance of looting an artifact is <HG Rank + 2> %, regardless of hunting alone or with assistance.
Thanks for explaining that but in this, it's written exactly the opposite. Also, actually gives you the same exp/fsp ratio as not asking for assist This means what?
Still have some doubts.
Thanks.
Please help me.
the ratio of exp/fsp is the same.
just less than if you didnt ask for assistance.

the chance of a drop doesnt change for the asker but i think its higher for the assistor
Takesister means that you can do more hunts if you ask for assistance because it doesn't increase much, so there are more wins where you can get an artifact.
Oh. Thanks a lot.
you have 8% chance to find a hunter artifact, so lets say every 12 battles you find 1 hunter artifact.
Each battle costs you 110 gold (minimum AP) * 8 battles = 880 gold.

So the artifact you has to find, has to sell for more than 880 gold.
This is the case for all GH arts, a few MH arts and the H armour / glove.
So it is up to you if you think its worth it.
(note that with HG5 you cant catch all GH arts yet)
Jumping into someone else query, but it sparked my own similar issue.

This is concerned with FSP, what about hunters guild points. I had been working on the assumption which I formed a long time ago and no longer know to be correct, that asking for assistance resulted in getting less Hunters guild points for the same size hunt. I am not sure if this is compensated by teh increase in number of hunts though?
Asking for assistance gets you the same amount of HG points as not asking for the same amount of hunt increase.

The combat initiator will get the amount of hunt points proportional to damage dealt during the hunt.

No assist:
You get 1 HG point, 0.5 fsp, +30% increase of hunt

Assist (even split of fsp):
You get 0.5 HG, 0.25 fsp, +15% increase
The next time -
You get 0.5 HG, 0.25 fsp, +15% increase (total 1 HG point, 0.5 fsp, +30% increase of hunt)

Assist (Non even split) :
You get 0.2 HG, 0.1 fsp, +6% increase
The next time -
You get 0.2 HG, 0.1 fsp, +6% increase (total 0.4 HG point, 0.2 fsp, +12% increase of hunt)
The next time -
You get 0.2 HG, 0.1 fsp, +6% increase (total 0.6 HG point, 0.3 fsp, +18% increase of hunt)
The next time -
You get 0.2 HG, 0.1 fsp, +6% increase (total 0.8 HG point, 0.4 fsp, +24% increase of hunt)
The next time -
You get 0.2 HG, 0.1 fsp, +6% increase (total 1 HG point, 0.5 fsp, +30% increase of hunt)
for Sven91:
That's what I used to think. But see my Combat Log, Since the last 16 battles, I haven't got any thing.
You can check my Combat Log.
I am not sure I completely agree with you Takesister, as for your calculations you are based on the original hunt number, whereas to my understanding they are based on the last hunt

Therefore for one hunt no assist of say 100 creatures

You get 1 HG point, 0.5 fsp, +30% increase of hunt

Assist (even split of fsp):
You get 0.5 HG, 0.25 fsp, +15% increase

This yields 115 creatures
The next time -
You get 0.5 HG, 0.25 fsp, +15% increase (total 1 HG point, 0.5 fsp, +a further +15% increase of hunt

+15% of 115 gives 132

Therefore you have the same HG points, but have hit a higher number of creatures. As this progresses this should lead to less HG points.

How significant this is I guess is then a matter of debate.

I think this works out for FSP as well, which is why I stopped asking for assists a while ago.

I think this is correct, though I do not presume to have not missed something
1.69^0.25 = = 1.14017543

so not a 15% increase but a 14.02% increase

100*1.14017543*1.14017543 = 130.000001
Looks good in theory, but what you will do when face high amount of creatures with big exp earned (like golems, incendiaries etc)? Battles goes for both to achieve full exp with only half fsp. What then?
Otherwise i agree on the above mentioned things.
So to my understanding, with regard to asking for assistance.

No difference in fsp or HG levels

profitability depends upon the price for arts being greater than the average cost for arts worn

So financially you should ask for assistance if the average sell price of your hunter artifacts is 12.5 times the cost of the arts worn (from 1/0.08)

This is of course excluding the increased gain from payment for the hunt

In conclusion I better start asking for hunt assistance all the time!!
