"ROAST EM UP AND SERVE EM HOT" July Event
================================
Limustudotcom is the coordinator.
This is a "Commander's Guild" event. Whoever manages to pull off the most stunning BATTLE will be eligible to win this event--victory in combat is not a requirement just an amazing performance as determined by your #153 peers! ALL battle types are welcome (ie 1v1, 2v2, etc). Each member may submit only their "best" battle link on July 16th-24th to an Off-Topic Forum in game where results can be posted+viewed. I will create the post and send a mass clan mail with a link to it. The top 5 "best battles" determined by LoS clan mates will each win 2,000 gold!
Voting to begin on July 25th. Each member can vote for their 3 most favorites, top being worth 3, 2nd being worth 2 and last being worth 1 point. Whoever gets the most points--will win the prizes!

Ah yes all CG combats must be from July 1st onwards...

One last comment:
You MAY retract your "best of show" battle for another IF you can find a mod to erase your original post within the allowed placing timeframe!
On July 24th, 23:59 server time, no more entries will be allowed.

Sorry...another last few comments:
1. All people submitting links MUST vote
2. All people submitting links CANNOT vote for themselves
3. Remember each person is submitting their own personal "best of show." If the battle is interesting and the person played well, then by all means, vote for them! The same battle MAY be used by more than 1 LoS member....however...remember you are voting for a member's performance and battle interest at the same time. So if Member A did better in the same battle that concerned a Member B...give Member A the 1st place and Member B the 2nd, etc.
4. If there should be a tie, we will open it up to the community for 48 hours and see which Players and their Battles get more points to determine winners :)

I saw all the battles and in my opinion:
stu's battle was most exciting 1st place! - very tactical game
Tas's battle goes 2nd - it was also interesting
hpsim's battle goes 3rd - it was more a slaughter than a CG :) |
well, i dont have much choice to choose.
for lvl 9 de, i just have to go max shrew before i get minotaur soldier.
not much is willing to play cg since it is too expensive for a lvl 9 player(lg lvl too low compare to high lvl player) so 2vs2 or 3vs3 is almost impossible. |
I must say it is a pity we didn't see more battles.
But from this 3 it isn't hard to say that most interesting and exciting was limustudotcom's victory. For us on lower levels is interesting to see so many units on 2x2 fight and spels also. :)
For me second is Taskurpavaro and Hpsim is third. The same opinion like Ric. |
