Hi all, is there any benefit from switching races? Rather than gaming experience with different races. |
1. Getting fun.
2. Every faction skill point gives you 3% damage reduction from this faction. |
Every faction skill point gives you 3% damage reduction from this faction.
This means that you will get 3% resistance (melee, shooting and magic damage against enemies with HERO) for every faction level you have for that faction. |
there are other reason e.g. you may get an MG quest that's a monster so you change knight for xbows aimed shot. |
3. To learn the strengths and weaknesses of other factions, so you know how to handle them better in future.
Also some factions are better at ambushes, others are better at hunts, and some are better at monster quests. |
others are better at hunts
Wizards, elves (necro arent bad)
better at monster quests.
Knights (lvl 8+),
better at ambushes
Demons, DE, Barbs

1. Getting fun is best reason, 2 and 3 are also important for the long term life of your character. Switch-able races is a critical thing which makes this game great. |

i think you forgot necro and wizard |
for merlin36:
Didnt know about necro, and everyone know wiz are made for any neutrals! |
for Nav_lfc:
after level 8 when necromancers get inf. zombies they get good because the zombies ability (infected strike) takes away 4 attack and defense meaning the other troops do great deals of damage to the monster but it does small amount to you |
monster quest necro rules... |
Like everyone having aimed shot! O_O |
for Nav_lfc: yep and the vamps probs targeted by the monster heal themselves straight after getting hurt XD |
u dnt need aimed shot, keep hitting with inf zombie.later monster dmg is almost nothing to vamp.vamp just attacks and regain life.well topic is going somewhere else...:) |
this topic is veering towards monster quest discussion not switching factions...please keep discussions on topic |
Actually I have got valuable information from this topic, thanks to everyone who shared his/her opinion :) |
Playing the same faction is quite strategical, actually...you can always use a 2nd/3rd account to "learn" about other factions and just beef up your main account with one faction...this is an especially good strategy if you play as a Necro or Knight...a high faction in these is a huge advantage in PvP later down the road.
Cheers |
