What is the chance that a phanton unit does not get hit on the first hit - Is it not 50% ?
I could swear that 80% of the time the unit gets destroyed -or am i being unlucky or just negative ?? |
The chance of hitting phantom by physical attack is strictly 50%. Maybe you are unlucky ))) |
I could swear that 80% of the time the unit gets destroyed
And you would be wrong. I'm pretty sure it's just your perception. People tend not to remember when they get lucky, only when they get unlucky. |
What it is is simple...
My ghosts get destroyed on 1st hit 80% of the time.
The opponent's ghosts however, only get hit by the 1st hit 20% of the time.
So, you can see how this averages to 50%.
P.s. I am only joking of course. |
to flour-you are joking, but its sad thrue |
as i know first and second hit are 50% and 3rd is 100% |

That's pretty funny. |
Physical attacks against this creature are only 50% likely to be successful. However, there is no way that three consecutive hits or three consecutive misses take place on every particular stack. After two consecutive hits a compulsory miss will occur, and vice versa. Incorporeal does not concern magical attacks against this creature. Any magic (except the "Raise dead" spell) applied to this creature also resets the consecutive hits & misses counter to 0. (https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=32)
I believe it is explained clearly in the 'About the game' section. |
We're talking about phantoms, so of course the Raise Dead spell doesn't apply, but let's suppose it is a ghost. I know that a completely (not partially) destroyed stack loses all magical effects (such as Delay or Rapid) when raised. But does anyone know if such stack also gets the miss-hit counter reset (i.e. treated like a new stack)? |
the spell on raised troops stay untill the end.
so if you raise casted troops,it will be with negative or possitive spells |

no, counter does not reset.
If your stack of ghosts/appas gets hit in first turn and killed in second, they will be missed when you raise it again and somebody attemps to hit them. |
