If you look at this page it gives info for higher levels - translate the page and then look at the elf row - if the number if high you do well against that faction in duels, if it is low, then you do not.
Generally for elf the summary is
Level 15 - beats demon and Barb - even with De, loses to the others
Level 14 - beats wiz and demon - loses to the others
Level 13 - beats barn, demon and DE, even wiz and necro - loses to knights
Level 12 - beats wiz, barb and DE, loses to others
This is a crude statistical analysis of liklihood of win versus loss, and obviously doesn;t mean it always happens, just the average.
To draw a conclusion to answer your question, the one faction from level 12 to 15 that consistently beats elves in a duel are knights. The ones elves beat the most is demons. |

I don't know how u say that elves beat barbs at lvl12 and other lvls u specified. u see the problem with elf is that they don't have powerful melee units at any lvl since they are archery based. this becomes an disadvantage while facing barbs or even archer based demons sometimes as they can kill their archers easily. once they are dead they are not able to do anything with their melee units as they are quite useless.
while barbs have both better melee and archery units. even demon have decent looking Scoob and mistress but their other melee units are very strong. So that is y they need to rely so much on luck as strategy never really pays off for them. Winning for elves only depends on how many luck befall for them. If u don't agree then try to take 52 wolfraiders with 47 efk without any luck. |

The ultimate anti-Elf faction all things being equal...is Necro (at higher levels).
See a few battles between Tas and Bojo...not sure if Tas ever got to beat him yet in a duel.

| Lol tas has beaten bojo a no. of times already. at the beginning bojo was tas's nightmare but tas soon realised that he need to depend on strategy a little instead of just luck. u should see the way tas protected his bows and the fear on bojo's face. |

For Aniscool, you say elves have no powerful melee unit at any level. Watch the battle links above and then say it again if you genuinely think brilliant unicorns are not strong. I would have thought they are one of the more feared units at higher levels, as have everything, high hp, high ini, resistance to magic, can blind and will almost always be coupled with th chance of crazy damage with criticals and luck. I doubt you will see many melee units take them on without weakening them significantly first, too hard to get a clear cheap retal as high ini, too much hp to knock them out with one hit.
As for what I based my opinions, like you I am not a high enough level to say with strong reliability things about levels higher than me, so have used statistical evidence instead. The data I used is based upon the average results from 1000's of duels. Therefore the whys can be argued about all you like, the result and conclusions are accurate. |

U have really seen 1000's of duels? lol i never knew people played, are playing and will play duels. anyway as u were saying u could point out only 1 melee unit which is unicorn. dragons are good to but die quickly and i don't consider treefolk to be a Attacking unit.
now lets analyse other faction. all other factions use 4 melee units. do u really think unicorns can take all of them alone? so that's y elf need luck and archers. if archers die elf dead. |
