| -1 everybody would be necro or knight | There have been a couple of clans created to help promote GBs and independant Tournaments where there is no entry fees and no prizes except recognition for the best achieving warriors and their clans.
#529 GB Tournament Clan (https://www.lordswm.com/clan_info.php?id=7529), successfully held a massive clan v clan tournament and had approval to run further such tournaments in the future. The initial tournament had a very good signup rate from players representing a number of clans (or just fighting for their own honour).
Unfortunately no one has recently had the time or motivation to setup another such tournament. Maybe if a small group of players are willing to put the effort in to decide on rules, AP limits & battle formats and can act as judges and score keepers then we can run another tournament. No fees, no prizes just plenty of action and battles???

I think it's the motivation that does most players in. As appealing as the right to boast sounds, any such tournaments held by players would be several times more successful if we were allowed to have prize pots. It would certainly create more activity on the server as a whole, instead of most of us just counting our LG. |
