i wonder why barbs have less talents than others
my frnd is a elf i go to his house to play but when i saw his talents i was amazed |
every faction differs !
Any faction can be the best; BUT definitely not the one you are playing now. © Pang |
and the talent points are also different i think |
Probably because they don't have magic guilds. Other factions have magic, so the have the option of taking the magic talents (example: basic nature magic). |
so the have the option
So *they have the option... |
then wat about basic edruction we can use it in improving our parameters |
You will soon come to learnt eh abrbs keep things simple approach is very nice. Barbs actually have one of the better talent wheels. |
'cause barbs have no brains (as a class)
They don't know magic, so 4 magic branches are out of the question (the magic branches).
Plus erudition branch and Sorcery branch are out of the question as well.
This leaves only 4 out of 10 total branches to their use, they are more than many for their "move and kill" living style :D
Demons for example in my opinion have less talents than they should. Leadership is missing from their wheel.
Anyway, you won't need any more branches as long as you can't use magic so don't worry. I actually was pleased to see that there are so few builds for the barbarian, so that you don't give yourself a headache asking "What's the best build ? Why am I losing so often ? That build rocks, lets change my parameters to try it". I am not saying it's the best thing that you got few talent choices, I just say it has it's goods as well and most importantly, you don't need the rest branches. (correct me if I'm wrong, if I don't forget anything, barbarian has all the non-magic branches available) |
You will soon come to learnt eh abrbs
You will soon come to learn the
poor typos ^^ |
LOL, I was writting topic #8 and before posting it 6 others came up !! FAST !! :D
No, erudition is considered a magic branch as well, since half of it increases your Magic build, it would be senseless and missleading for your class, unless you had a modified erudition branch (having only basic, advanced, expert erudition and nothing else), but that would be senseless too, since, why won't a barb have Intellect for example ? Barbarian can put his points into spell power and knowledge freely after all :)
So, no erudition :P |
You can see all the factions talent wheels here:

Just click the faction you want to look at. |
They do seem to be short-ended regarding talents. Only one favored branch (costing 7 points). They should have one other branch costing 7 or 8 points. As it is, they're pretty much limited to the Offense branch. |
