should i splitt my troops? eg xbows ? | It depends on what you are fighting.
It is useful to have a few small stacks though for a number of reasons:
• to block enemy from reaching your xbows
• to take retal with a single unit for main stack to attack next
• to become "less" of a target for enemy
• etc | Having xbows at your level is quite a big advantage.
When you face melee opponents keep your xbows in one stack and split farmers/swords to block them (in PvE combats). Against shooters (where in most cases you need swordmen) split of 1 cross or griff to be able to take retal.
If you don't use any magic (especially bless on xbows), splitting xbows is a good alternative, since they have a big range of damage and if you are unlucky in one blow, all your damage is wasted. | Yes, you can use they to advance and take retalation, block, make walls etc.
And each stack dead gives 1 rage to your swords... |
