like game: Heroes

e.g.

week of wood : we get double wood production effect
week of water : water damage deal +50%
week of combats : all battles come +50% faster
week of bad luck : all luck -1
and
week of gold : ... :)
interesting, +1

nice idea, but don't you think such "weeks" destroy balancing?

In weeks of magic damage increase casters are too strong, and in weeks of combat all hitters are too strong. Besides the PvP imbalance such weeks would cause, hunt-records will get unbalanced too.
no effect in tour and CG . and players r happy and play more in the weeks .

in week when its -1 luck nekros would own the server

-1 for this weeks... They affect combats, and it's bad :(

But we could have:
-week of worker (double wage :)
-week of hunters (hunters will come in 30 min)
-week of mercenaries
-week of gamberls (no empire's tax in stakes)
I like Nothing_to_say's suggestions, no effect on combats but still effectfull weeks :D

Anything that directly influences combat would be a bad thing, methinks. But non-combat effects sounds really interesting. In Week of Thieves, ambushes trigger 20% more often. In Week of Hunters, hunts will appear 20% more often. In Week of Gatherers, the chances of you getting elements from a successful MG quest would be slightly higher (2-4% ?). In Week of Travelers, traveling time between areas will be reduced by 10%. In Week of Benediction, your army/mana will heal 15% faster + a few suggestions that have already been made.
What happen when PLAGUE will come?
Noone earns anything whole week ?:D
could just simply implement weeks that have no effect on combats.

we could just have :
