player lost a thief : 6 hours immunity instead of 3

thief beaten by caravan : 30 mins rest for next ambush

thief beaten by a player : 2 hours

thief beaten by 2 players : 1 hour
+1 30mins rest would be great I guess... for caravan, since some high-leveled players need TG for fsp

Though the caravan loss problem is more because it takes too long to get an ambush. I would add in reduction to ambush times or at the very least cap the max wait time to under 1 hour.

cleary this topics only point is to get thief more often, but i haven't see any proper explain why?

it's already better to meet caravans than players.
i don't see the point in reducing the penality of defeats against caravans and increasing the penality of defeats against players.

if there were changes to be done, i woud keep the 1 hour penality for losses against caravans, and at least remove the waiting time for loss against player (and maybe reduce the probability of ambushing a player, or add a button "ambush only caravans")


meeting a caravan always give you something: 1 TG point in case of victory, decreased difficulty for next time in case of defeat.

the worst thing that can happen to a thief (with actual rules) is to ambush a player:
usually you will lose, because most thieves set ambushes in min AP, and many players travell in full arts.
your defeat won't bring you anything good: no TG points, no decreased difficulty...the only thing you will have is a boring unbalanced battle lost from the start (min AP VS full arts)

i think ambushing players is bad enough now, no need to make it even worse with a 2 hours penality after failing the ambush.


and even if ambushing players was not that bad for thieves, 2 hours penality is too huge: several players don't have a lot of free time per day.

imagine, you have 2.5 hours of free time per day, to play lordswm.
you come in order to play some ambushes and to raise your TG.
1st ambush: 10 minutes wait, then you ambush a full art player, you are crushed in a boring battle (10 minutes)
then, you have a 2 hours penality.
when penality is finally over, you have 10 minutes left of free time, not enough to set another ambush, you can loggout, and try again tommorow. result: you'd better don't have logged in today...
