i want to know if i can do ST n PvP without those treefolk?
and is fort necessary? |

yes, exact conditions are still not exactly known i think.
But for example at level 13 i can fight without the citadel as long as i take the rally talent. |

there are two "groups of combats"
1) solo hunts and mercernary quests
2) Hunt assists, ambushing, tournaments, PvP battles, etc
you can 1) with an empty castle.
For the 2) you need the mystery requirement. So if you can do a duel you can do tournaments and hunt assists as well. |
I think it depends on total HP of all your troops with more being needed for PvP than PvE.
You may be able to find another combination which works by playing with recruiting / talents. |
