Alternate accounts (To my knowledge) can buy items (at least resources) from the market.
They do not count as rare items AND you can obtain them from hunts. |

This is 'cause you have to build Marketplace in every castle in order to use market services.
So if you have already built a Marketplace with your main faction and than switch to another faction, you have to build it once again in the new faction's castle. |
