| Should there be any difference between cold blade talent and retribution talent (with 2 morale)? I mean is there any difference in final damage? What does decrease damage dealed by cold blade and what by retribution? |
| Both do +10% dmg, but the cold blade does water dmg so it can be reduce by water defence. Retribution does physical damage instead, so it is reduced by all those thing who reduce melee dmg |

Never hear anything about retribution don't effect on retail, but you can always test it on practice...
Hmm i'm thinking about something, cold blade ins't magic damage it's water, so how psycal defense from defense parameter work on it?
it's "ingnore the defense parameter" looks very bizarre...
Or Psycal defense from parameter and water resistance, both reduce the bonus given from this talent?

rettribution is a usefull talent since your morale is over 2 then you will have a physical bonus on damages (melee and shooter). It works on retail!

Right. Against any creature with resistance to water, with 2 morale retribution would be better than cold blade.

No, defense talents are inconsequential to the choice of talent between retribution and cold blade. Even if your enemy has defense talents (eg. Advanced defense), cold blade is still no better than retribution. The only thing that matters is whether the enemy has any resistance to water. |
#11 : Not only Magic shield, all kind of magic defence (general and typical Water defence), reduice the cold blade bonus!
So what about neutral like Unicorns, brillant uni, troops around uni? I let you guess the result...
imo retribution is always better when you morale is over +2... |
