Authorquestion about rules/gold/transfer
hi
is that legal a player keep another player`s gold ?
(not loan saving gold for example like a bank account )
Regards
nah dawg
No.

If no explanation in transfer description then it is a loan and can receive penalty 30 days after transfer.

If it say "gift" in description then it needs to follow the amounts legally allowed under rules. If it is then returned later as a "gift" again then gift limits apply to both transfers/characters.
what a stupid question; this is nothing to do with legal or not...

we dont even have max amount of gold in treasury and you need someone keep for you?

i found players are getting more creative... they just can get alot of EXCUSEs to try the border line of the rules....
what a stupid question

What a stupid answer...
its not gift also its not loan i am gambling a lot and i want to transfer my golds every day to our clan leader or another trusted clan member to keep it for me
how can i do this transfer to not have an illegal transfer ?
In other words you can't.
Instead just buy estate/clan to store money!
You can give your gold as a loan to another player, but he or she has to pay it back within 30 days. Of course within the limits of rules, which you should read carefully before.

I don't see any reason why this should be illegal. There is no rule that loans have to be used actually. If it prevents you from gambling, I don't see any ethical problems, too.
You cant. You can either send gifts or loans. Any banking services are specifically prohibitted in rules.

Instead, why not buy resources or something with it? That way you cant get gold back instantly so will help fight the roulette urge but it is still there when needed?

Or buy arts to trade on market and make some profit from your gold?
simple. stop roulette and nothing will happen.

sending gold to other to keep will just fall under the loan rule. both you and him will get penalty as well once the duration expired.

yes, you can ask him return before expire. yet, too much transfer might confuse yourself later on to prove yourself isnt involved in the illegal thingy

Actually this would be a better way. Buy nickel or steel, which you can't sell at market, if roulette fever gets you. ;)

If you need gold, you can sell it to facilities later. Takes some time, but take your choice.
Reading this rule again:

3.21. Any banking and bookmaker activities are prohibited without exception.
Banking activities - granting loans with interest, receiving money from other players on deposit accounts, pawn shop business, insurance operations or any other bank activities.

Your case would be "receiving money from other players on deposit accounts" I guess. But maybe my English is too bad to understand this fully.

I wonder if depositing arts at other accounts (for example, if your inventory is full) would fall under this rule, too. And I've seen already players which rent their inventory space. Is this a kind of interest for storing values?

Questions, questions...

Since we have trigger happy admins and keepers here, best advice would probably be: Avoid any problems, do it as DiN and me suggested.
"You can give your gold as a loan to another player, but he or she has to pay it back within 30 days."

This is by far the easiest thing to do.

You can try buying resources (nickel/steel etc) but it its very difficult to liquidate them if you are strapped for gold.

Another thing you can do is get a script which blocks the roulette tab.
I wonder if depositing arts at other accounts (for example, if your inventory is full) would fall under this rule, too.

Renting inventory space is legal.
3.32.1. Players are allowed to store other players' artifacts in their own inventory, i.e. rent inventory space. The only acceptable transfer of artifacts for such storage is a 0 combats lease with the cost of 1 gold. Maximum term for such transfer is 1 month as defined by rule 3.14. Maximum acceptable price for renting out inventory space is 25 gold per item per day.
Oh, overlooked this rule. Thanks for clarifying, Tiger.
i think you need an idea for controlling your gold,

then start buying resources required for future levels

or
buy full arts(that is Maximum ap at your level)
or
set from

for better hunting,
always see to it that your gold is <300 (minimum bet on any stack at roulette)

well you must control yourself when you are going to reach new level.
well thanks a lot all of you
i got my answer and appreciate all of players who answered and explained to help
