They demand gold (if you buy on market https://www.lordswm.com/auction.php) or doing quests if you get them from MG.

I will do a guess of the question which you want to ask "What's the use of elemenets ? / What demands elements ? / Where are elements demanded ?". If that's what you want to know, they are needed in Enchanter's Guild. In order to enchant an artifact you need specific elements. | I believe he means more along the lines of how many people buy, what quantity does the lordswm community in general purchase over an unspecified time frame :P in which case I don't know the answer and doubt anyone does. Put them on the market and they'll get bought for sure, sometimes within a few minutes sometimes you might be waiting a couple of days. What the actual demand for them would be I have no idea though. |

His question was correctly phrased.
To answer the question, you can judge demand by the listing price on the market. The more costly elements are the ones that are either harder to get or used more.
The way enchantments work, there will always be a surplus of some elements. For example, you always need a Meteorite Shard to go with a Toadstool, but not the other way around, so over time, Toadstools will accumulate in the system without a real way to get rid of them; some players have hundreds of Toadstool. So that's why Toadstool is cheap (i.e. the demand for them is very low). |
