Yes there is. At level 6 you have the right to join the TG (Thieves' Guild), which is very expensive to join, you need to buy a TGI for 1 million gold. Well ... if you don't intend to play this game for more than 3 years it's not worth it saving gold from now, just enjoy the game. Also, I was in big need of gold at level 8 as I remembe, tier 2 upgraded creature costs much gold and you'd better have it once you level up to 8 so that you are competitive.
Well ... that's too much to start from now though. A general advice is not to waste gold on artifacts now. Enjoy your free-AP fights up to level 5 and collect as much gold as you can, this game should be called lords of money and war, since gold is much more powerful than skills in war (at least against neutrals, which cover most of the game's combat part). |

| Free ap fights are like, you don't need weapons to fight. But from lvl 5 onwards, you need to have weapons to fight. |
AP stands for Amunition Points.
Every weapon gives some AP and from level 5 upwards EVERY combat DEMANDS some AP (according to your level) in order to do it, that means you need to "spend" some gold to fight. Don't get anxious over this, minimum arts for level 5 I think cost about 80-90 gold, which is a little less than what you got from hunts. |

If you want to have gold later on then avoid changing faction, roulette, giving others loans and make sure you read all the games rules as fines can be massive.
As long as you enroll regularly you will easily have money for everything you need in this game (except a TGI which you need to work very hard for or donate to get). |

Yeah, since most of us are just selling the hunter arts and from that gold we can easily afford the arts for the fights and have something extra. |
