For survival you could try Recruits. Try it once.
I suppose they are better for survival. |
| Anyway, make you sure you have battle fury as talent when you use recruits. Then you can cause much more damage (I would say it is better especially in hunts, even when you have bowmen). |

Since you can change your recruitment anytime without problems, you should look to changing from bows to recruits to fit the situation. You will be far more successful as a knight if you are flexible and think about your best troops for each occasion. An "overall" strategy is not the best way to play.
Having said that, in most situations i would choose bows, though max recruits can be successful in the survival tourny until you get xbows at level 8. |
