Not necessarily. New artifacts have become available since some of those records were set. New hunt creatures and mercenary quests have been added which will allow you to push your skill levels beyond what was previously possible.
If you are going to chase hunt records, most are breakable. The higher level you are, the easier it is to break a record, in my opinion. |

No, but they can be used to get your racial ability up with a lower experience value per point of fsp. Meaning that you will have a higher racial ability to tackle the hunt record attempt, which is crucial for some factions, wizard especially. |

Just try hard (and sometimes, more than 1 time) with good arts and you will be able (if you play well) to break almost any record ;) |
