Hey guys, i wanna discuss here, why the admins don't try speak with ubisoft to take the copyrights to increase the number of players! I can think it's can be done by 2 ways

1- Buy it (Should be expensive, but will be refund at long of time)

2- Share the game for license so can increase the number of players without anything for care about...

I wans't online these days, and when i come back after 3-4 months i see the same number of players online than before, i stop and think, "Wow... This game is so good and fun, more original than all other game style we have for all the world, so why we have to low number of people here?"

The simple reason for it, is we cannot make this game profitable or with high number of players without copyrights...

I gonna give a faster example, we have World of Warcraft, a nice game at begin but today, it's on decay... losing the history of the game, mechancs, players, fun, etc. And still have 10 millions or more players online and buying that... And on forums, everyone talks same thing, no one is happy!
1) Can't, it's an on-going franchise. And this IS a free-to-play game, so profits will be low unless everyone buys diamonds daily.

2) Why would Ubisoft share the license? What reason is there for them to do so for a game not their own?

3) Which would you want? A game that has players or a lawsuit that will cost you millions and end up without a game?

That's why we are asking you players to invite your friends to play, but it seems few people do so.
i was gonna invite my friend to play here at my work place, but i think its to risk to share same ip..i dont wanna get blocked..most of my friend here playing facebook games,i once invite them..but they get blocked later..

I'm not trying to belittle the financial capacity of the admins but franchise for something as big as Heroes can't be bought that easily...

The "problem" here is that the game is too time consuming for casual players. There was a time when the game might have qualified as a "casual" game but there are a bunch of players who take the game too seriously and are willing to abuse the convenient features to game breaking extremes. That's why we now have battle taxes (minimum AP rule), workaholic penalties, reduced wages, etc. If you look at it, the major changes raised the difficulty of the game to adapt to the standards of these extreme players leaving the casual players to suffer the consequence.

My officemates introduced me to this game but I don't ever remember any of them (or myself) getting blocked for logging in from the same address. Maybe your friends were enrolling from the same PC? I think the admins are especially particular about enrolling patterns. Just make sure that you don't enroll from the same PC at the same hour. That might be seen as multiple account management.
This game has to be free .. :) always free .. :) players can only buy some advantages using diamonds .. with the price 1 euro .. :)

Agreed the game consume alot of time and casual players cannot stay online all the time, but wait, It's happen with all games of the world, it's not only here, i think we don't need change anything here, i like this system it's fun, especially battle grounds any fan of heroes will like and enjoy too, i have bring some friends to play here, some don't like the waiting and enrolling system, but some just love the game, and is playing alot more than me too! xD

If the admins wanna try change anything for better, well it's they option but i don't think we need this.

I see no problem with that, but one thing on copy rights says the game cannot be profitable, so if we have a high number of players like 100k+ and atleast 5k players buy every month 10 diamonds = 10 euros (10x5k) we have 50.000 euros reward per month, ok i believe with copy rights they can profit lot more than that, but that's one reason for they can't increase more the number of players, because will broken the rule and they can suffer from violation of the law...

You can see time per time, when we have more players than normal, other players doing illegal things get instantly banned because of infraction they did before of the rules... Maybe coincidence maybe not... But the number don't grow up.

Did you play the ubisoft web games? They are horrible man! Nothing like this one, and i really thing they need us.

Actually the old players don't gonna stop play this game, can do other things for a while but will back for sure... So, if we have a solid number of players garanted they not gonna leave, and some players invite friends to start here like me and others, and some just "find" from the internet the game, ok some don't keep playing, but why the number don't increase?
Why not give this game to Ubisoft, and let them run it?
I don't think ubisoft will know administrate it.

Since i don't like ubisoft multiplayer system...

Something i've wondered for a damn long time. A ubisoft takeover would be the best thing that could happen to this place as far as the players are concerned. Why doensn't somebody just email the guys at ubi and rat the admins up? Ubisoft get all peeved and come take over...
I'm not wanna be a boring which disagree every time, but i think the way should be a union about the two sides.

Ubisoft have the money, the market and the engineers to make all miracles we can imagine here, and maybe lease another version 3D about this game, like an MMO... (Already exist one, ubisoft ins't the owner too.)

And all other nice things, but... The multiplayer system of ubisoft ins't great, they need this staff ideas to make everything better... Other thing is... This game can be based on an ubisoft game, but they can't just steal this game, they can close but not steal.

If both sides join to try make something new, i'll be amazing will be the combination of the money + graphics + number of players + actualizations + same multi player system unchanged + more ideas + staff working etc.

This game will be like it's already is, but with some one to invest some money to process of grow, and if they want make something new they can just make other game without change this one.

I believe Ubisoft is already aware of this game. Why do you think it's no longer called Heroes of war and money?

You are probably unaware that Ubisoft already launched an online game that is competing with this one. I tried it and I didn't like it. It looks better, smoother, shiner... but the game play is not as interesting. It was more like a HOMMed version of travian.
Well with the little information i have, i bet that this game would generate more players than the ubisoft version? If the admins can prove this, then i think going in a partnership with ubisoft, having the admins to tell ubisoft that they want to be in the decision making, and giving the players a right to say in the design, functions etc since we are the costumers of this product, and going against and changing this game to the boring ubisoft game as you described wouldnt be a good product proposal. If these criteria are met, then this game be able to compete with the bigger click games, and we would many more players?

Also, how come the russian game of lords is going so good? Is it because Ubisoft cant sue them since the servers are located in russia? If it is like this, then how come this game dosnt change host to russia? W
Shred

But there's one problem on that, without copy rights this game cannot be a profitable game, in other words cannot have a high number of players.

There's one mmo about heroes online in .89, and it's have ip blocked to all country's except japan, why this? to prevent grow of players, since the server is on e.u.a and 90% the players aren't japanese...

If they can't have free access to do everything they want, same will happen here...

Of course take a copyrights will be a good idea, it's impossible say it should not be.
Well then make this game a nonprofitable game, use the revenues to pay of the admins and reinvest it on the game? Wouldn't it be count as "fair use" and not go against any copyright law?
Theory yes, but the things not work like that, if ubisoft want, they can just close the game. =/
