Try and kill the enemy before they kill you : 0
But on a more serious note try and take out rocs and orcs first these will be a pain and killing them gives you some breathing space. I would put all my ranged effort into killing the orcs and use my melee guys to kill the rocs unless you can get some nice in range hits on the rocs.
Raiders and hobs are of second concern but you can block the raiders if necessary perhaps with trees. Leave ogres till last and dont try and hit them without retal or theyll smash you.

I remembered that I fought 15 the other day, dunno how much help this is to you but you're an elf, i'm an elf - hey its a small world. Im in min AP so that may better equate to you in decent arts. I did a little better than I expected on my first try so maybe see what tactics I employed.
