I don't know if this has been asked before but I wanted to know what the max number of gating could be? I did some calculations, and for a level 12 racial skilled Demon with Extensive Gating and Full Demonic Set, it could go up to more than 100%.
Is that possible?
I took 2 luck as example for the Extensive Gating, which is minimum needed, and can go up to more with more luck. |

Talent exists and he's naming it.
Extensive gating
The number of gated creatures is increased by 10% + 5%*[Hero's luck parameter].
As for the answer, no one knows except an admin (you'll never learn that way) or someone who has tested it. |

I believe although don't quote me on this, that extensive gating only applies to already gated units. For instance a demon with faction 12 would recieve 20+4*12% gating as standard. 68%
Assuming that demon also had max luck extensive gating would give 10+5*5% i.e. 35%
I think the total gating would not be 68+35 = 103% but instead an extra 68*1.35 so 91.8%
Not sure though. With the demon set this number would presumably go over 100%, not sure how correct my info is. Maybe look at some demons on .ru? |

Exact stats would be 0.68*1.35*1.3=1,19=119% |

I don't think any Demon would go around with full Demonic Set :P That's why I am asking though, because I cannot find any examples. Demonic Sets are rare and no one had racial skill as Demon 12. |

with 2 rings + expert luck + tavern drink you can get 6 luck.
then extensive gating gives 40% bonus to gating instead of 35% |
| As i remember on Heroes V, it's possible pass than 100% gaze size, but i don't know here on lords. |

Elven had given the correct answer (i ve tried this talent)
well the base of gates is given by the hero Faction level. So all addicitonnal bonus are added on the base and not on the 100%!
So Hero Base Gate = 20% + 4%xFL demon
Bonus extensive gating = Hero Base Gate x (10% + 5%*[Hero's luck parameter])
