I know that in the beginning these merged hunts did exist, but they were abolished some time ago IIRC.

Yes, that's another one: one level 4 and one level 5 in the same merged hunt.
The fact that they are of different level seems new to me (well, or a ghost from the past). |
I think they never stopped this kind of hunts, they are just rare to trigger, especially on higher levels where few players can play at the same time.
I think I had my last merged hunt at level 11 or 12, not sure. |
I too believe they never stopped the hunts, it's just that with such a low population - and them being so rare in the first place - it has been harder to get one.
They have always allowed hunters of +1 or -1 levels to hunt with each other in these merged hunts. (Reference - https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1842732 )
So the merged hunts probably never left, they are just very hard to come by. |
They keep happening with my multis....Not too often though.
