You need faction level 2 for this rune. Each faction skill level unlocks 1 more rune.

For this rune to work your squad must have lost at least one unit. I.e., if at the beginning of the battle you have squad of 17 bears, it will be able to use berserk rune only when 16 bears left (or less). |
Hey...should I get mountain sentries and use them in place of spearmen? I'll have only 6k left if i upgrade it. (my multi) |
Spearmen have only 2 shots, so I think Mountain sentires are better until you reach level 8 when you can upgrade them. |
I would not recommend. Yet right now it seems reasonable option, at higher levels you don't need mountain sentries at all, so it would be absolutely useless upgrade. |

With that talent in the middle each rune can be used twice in each combat, but still each stack can only use one run per combat

Versus unupgraded version - yep, there are more useful. But only vs it. Too slow and too low initiative to base one's recruitment set on them. |
im expenrimenting with a defense build, so far with good result.
my thought is to maximize defense (all pts into def, expert def) and rely on double-strike rune and madness for offense.
any thoughts from russian old guns? |
