Players even when they can do 4 enchantments or 5 enchantments give payback.I wanted to know is it still profit because what I can see is it is loss. |
Two cases :
Of course it's still a loss. Enchanters just give some gold back to encourage the players to do enchants and so to increase their EG. |

Hallion91 is correct. However, enchanting the artifact will greatly increase its effectiveness and power in combat. Moreover, it will become a much more valuable item for sale or for lease. Also, it may become a weapon that is worth paying for a smith's service in repairing it due to its enchantments, value and power. |
it`s a great profit. you don`t have to waste time and money just to increase your enchanters` guild. you pay a professional for his service and get a discount.
if someone says that it`s fun to impove repairing/enchanting efficiency for about a year, he`s perverted. it`s the same like increasing laborers` guild`s rates - a boring and masochistic process. |
It is a loss (in gold) but the enchanter profits from quicker guild points.
That said, I dont see why enchanters who are already at maximum level would offer cash back (unless they are trying to support the people who helped them get high levels in the first place). |

Keep the competition down, prepare themselves for higher levels, give back to the community. |
Keep the competition down
If top enchanters give discount, not only they don't keep the competition down, but they force low level enchanters to suffer more.
By terms of market competition, the most powerful makes the biggest profit. If the most powerful himself does not make a profit, then the profit for that whole sector is ruined. |
