| Finally, the gambler's league 1 has come to an end, after 2501 tournaments and giving to the lordswm community 2501 champions. But one questions that remains? Why the sudden stop? There was not even an official announcement. That's something to ponder about... |

But why did they cancel it? Because a merge is upcoming? And they are afraid people will "farm the badges"?
Merge will take weeks, if not months. Does this mean they will also cancel survival tournament? Since people can farm those badges easily too |

To be honest, i found gambler league tournaments quite deceiving, and only played a few of those.
All games were played on GC rules, which are based at 80% on luck.
Hopefully, with the changes arriving, we will get a shot to different locations rules at different times, personally i would love to have east bay rules enforced during tournaments. |
| I actually prefer GC rules. Why is GC 80% luck? I just like it because it is faster. I hate dragging on forever in the same game. |
| GC rules exclude one of the three ways of winning (gathering resources), which makes East Bay more interesting, imo |
| edit: to be more precise, the GC rules don't exlude resource gathering as a way of winning per definition, but in practice this is VERY rare... (I've won only once that way, against StorminMerlin, and for him it was the second time he witnessed this way of winning) |
