East Bay Card Tournament: same system as card tournament we have now, only difference is the tavern where it takes place (EB in stead of GC)
Maybe better to have 15 minute time out (or 20min)?
The tourneys would take longer then, but I wouldn't mind that, you? |

time maybe problem when using east bay system.
either more game decided by timeout, or longer game make tournament will last for more than 1 hour, or tournament participant reduced to 16 players with 15 minutes timer. |

bumping this thread because it seems the right time to do so - gambler league being suspended.
I don't see the problem if the league tournament last longer than one hour - it just means that some players will not be able to join the next one right away, and honestly, since finalists are probably going to be the better players, it will leave a chance for others to play as well.
I remember too well how some GC leagues got filled up in less than 30 seconds during peak hours.. and there were less than 800 players online then. |

the card games should be at varied locations.
i think a randomizer would be a good idea...
even if it was modified to give GC two entries in draw and others 1.
or as was suggested in another thread early rounds at GC and finals at EB or BG? this way 10 mins for early rounds and 15 mins for finals...? |
