The firm warm dwellings of prosperous farmers allow to join recruits. The recruits are easier to train, thus increasing the total numbers of your troops.

Does that means the numbers/ammount of Farmers I've had before will increase? E.g: I had 50 Farmers... When I upgrade does it increase to 55 or something like that? Or it just a statement... |

Yes but if you intend to switch around factions it is not a necessity.
Recruits will also increase number of troops even more in later levels. |
