It says it "increases the initiative of the wearer by 10%" .. how is this calculated? does it add 10% of whatever the current character and equipment initiative is? if the current initiative is 10%, does it become 11%? and if it is 15% does it become 11% or 12% (presuming that's how it works)? |
15% does it become 11% or 12%
You mean 16% or 17% ;) |
it adds 10% ini to the hero, the ini from the hero is always 10 by default. So 10+10% = 11.
For wizards and magic DE it is good, because they get their turn faster. But it does not influence ini from your troops, so useless to the rest. |
@Sven
I think he ask if the hero got more than 10
Here is an example of more than one arts
I have initiative of 12,4
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=494853379<=-1
So it seems to be accumulative
6+6+10=24% |
Wow, first time I see a hero with an initiative other than 10 ... |
Indeed it is additive, it's mentioned that way on the character page too, no doubt about it. |
ix.1=number and then add your current initiative to that number
i.e
you have 10 initiative
10x.1=1+10=11 |
Thanks for the answers, guys :)
So if I understand Khel's answer well, it only affects the hero, which has a 10% init by default even if there is additional init that is gained by thieving, and troops do not benefit from that init at all?
In your example you had 3 arts granting 6%, 6%, and 10%? |
So if I understand Khel's answer well
Hard to say, since I don't understand what YOU are saying, so I can't judge your level of understanding. If I have to guess, I'd say you're still a bit confused about things. |
more like a bit slow |
ok, the bonus innit gained from thief's guild affects ONLY troops, warlock jackboots grant +10% innit to hero only, if you also wear master hunter rings of dexterity( grants +7% innit to hero) then it would be 7% +7% +10% = 24% (kellendros had a typo when he put 6+6+10, he meant 7+7+10). If you wear all three arts, then it would increase your heros innit by 2.4, resulting in 12.4 innit he was talking about earlier. Make sense? |
Geryon and ahmadssk; you guys are "overly smart" to participate in such a discussion .. no body asked your opinion, so keep your nonsense to yourselves.
Thanks for the explanation, slayerofall, makes perfect sense! |
