+1 if this became available, people would give loans more freely since they could "pull" back their money at the given time no matter if the other player has the funds or not. Last night, I was looking for a loan to build a dwarf castle upgrade so I could do tourny, and I couldn't find anyone to loan money....

seriuosly? Most players are respectable and will repay the loan. Usually you just have to pick who you loan to. If you loan to big gamblers, or low levels who gamble, then that is just a bad investment. |

Is nearly the same suggestion, therefore I'm writing the same. This would simply be very much additional work to the administrator and would encourage the player to give out more loans, while others would just make more and more illegal multis, borrow money, have fun and that got blocked later.
I don't see any benefit there, only a lot of illegal activities and additional work. |

what if the player who took the loan lost all gold in roulette and has 0 gold, how you gonna pull back your money ??.
Giving loan is completely a player's own decision and responsibility, so think before giving loan to someone.
I think instead of giving us right to pull back our gold, they should block our option of transferring gold as loan. It will help controlling cheaters activities on server |

Just got a message from beggar. There are just too many people out there making gambling accounts hoping to strike it rich and then abandoning the account when they lose too much in the roulette and start over again with another account. Implementing this would allow this abuse to continue. Think about this:
1. Alice makes a gambling account and asks Bob to give her a loan.
2. Alice loses all gold to roulette and gets blocked because she's unable to pay loan.
3. Bob withdraws loan from Alice's blocked account.
4. Alice makes another gambling account and asks Bob to give her another loan.
5. See #2.
6. See #3.
7. Repeat it all over again until Alice manages to get lucky and pay back loan with gold surplus.
8. Profit!
Seriously, guys. This should stop.

and most of these are kids who will keep repeating it no matter how many of their accounts get blocked. That's why I am suggesting to simply block the loan option(Though it will surely affect the players who actually need help but i think there are not lot of them).....

Disallow loan in resources, allow loan in artifacts only. In other words: renting, what is possible now.
There's also better option, but it'll require some work:
Make gold show on top of screen for players like now, but really it will be devided into 2 parts X+Y, where X: all your gold accumulated by you. Y: all gold aquired from other players (resources counted as standard price converted into gold). You can't bet on roulette more than X. So if your total gold equals to Y or less, you can't bet on roulette at all.
Alice has 5000 gold.
Alice asks Bob to give her 50000.
Bob is very kind person and gives her 50000.
Alice now has 55000, but here's one problem, now Alice can't bet on roulette more than 5000 gold, because for roulette she has only X (5000).
This way kids will be able only to scam innocent kind persons by betting all their own money and then continue play with a loan, but then kind person will create a topic about not returning loan and she will get -100000 and create another character. So what reason to take loan? None. This way loans will be used only on castles and artifacts or elements or repair, etc. Then withdrawal of loans can be implemented, as nothing bad will happen with this. But I don't think they will implement something like this, because there were 100500 good suggestions how to make this game better already and nothing has changed. Especially creating a suggestion on .com server... well... good luck. |
