Authormagic v might
when i look at all high level necros they have 1 knowledge and put all on attack so what lvl should i go all might
on lower levels more useful is knowledge I think, later you can maybe change to might by potion of oblivion
Anyway, I found some darkness magic useful even in ambushes (in CG it can be very useful too) on high levels, so it's up to you

Magic until you have a total of 60 Knowledge (unless you go for dark build, you don't need SP), then put to might and when you see battles are getting hard, use a potion of oblivion to full might.
I think 4 - 5 knowledge is more than enough...
From CL 1 - 5 Knowledge else put on attack for might build.

If you want play with darkness style, You should have 3 - 4 knowledge and 3 - 4 SP on CL 6 - 7

There's one optional build give me very good results on CL 6 - 7 Which is put all in Defense + defensive talents... (Imortal vampires)

CL 8 - 9 You must change again (To darkness or might)

And keep going... Necromancer to get the "best" build at each level, it's a very expensive faction...

But of course, you don't need change talents any time, if you focus with one way all the time. It's up to you...
I would say at around level 10 is a good time to go might for PvP battles so just 10 - 20 mana. You will find that wasp swarm is one of your most useful spells as a might necro.

For PvE you probably want a little more mana, ~50, as you will want to cast phantom. You can always use erudition talent to let you easily swap between might/hybrid build depending on battle. There will also be times when a darkness build is very useful, i.e. like when you are killing monsters when delay and confusion will be your best friends.

You can also run with a darkness build at these levels though which can work well for both PvP 2v2 or 3v3 (if you are supporting someone who can do good damage and for many PvE fights when mass delay & disruption are very good in most situations and weakness/confusion/curse depending on fight.

Poison is rarely the optimal choice over level 8 as it will do less damage than almost any other build you choose.

Just looked at your character. As is obvious from your profile you dont have any additional characters and are currently playing Wizard with very low (even for level 4) necro faction level: {quote]Necromancer: 1 (22.50) +27.5

Necromancer is one of the few factions which relies very heavily on faction level to do well in PvP battles and even in PvE you wont be winning any medals as a low faction level necro.

If you really plan on playing necro your real objective should be in getting your faction level increased as without it, it won't matter which type of build you choose.
