There have been two throne battle tournaments.
The first was in November of 2009 and allowed players to battle using tier 5 troops and the yet-to-be-released tier 5 upgrades.
The second was held over New Years at the end of 2009 and allowed players to battle using tier 6 troops and tier 6 upgrades.
Obviously, you cannot participate in a throne battle now.
In a throne battle, you would be given the tier troops of your specific that you are at the time. The battles were usually one-sided, because certain factions had more powerful troops at that level and because of this, there were no prizes or rewards. It was just a fun tournament type. |
