| as long as you increase your Knight level (not hero level) yes. But if you want an advice don't use diamonds for recruits, better save it for crossbows at level 6. Recruits are not so much precious to a Knight. |

BTW, make sure to get into TG guild at level 6 with diamonds. Amongst all the choices you have on using your diamonds, getting into TG (Thieve's Guild) is the best you can do. Sorry to go off your aims, but I strongly believe you should consider TG too (80 diamonds to join). If you have enough for all these then sure, get recruits at level 3, they'd give you a small boost. |

Tier 1 upgrade BEST unit on level 3 - 7 on this game.
And some factions, still use they on lv 8+, fast example necromancer. |
