earn more gold first, enroll for a couple of weeks and then buy Sword of Might (one of the best items to lease)
that's just to start off, once you have a lot of money you should just get the whole steel set and lease those arts. amulet of luck and rings of inspiration are good too |
Well,
The easiest thing to do would be to look at the Artifact Shop and see which weapons, shields, footwear Etc. are the best for each level. Because why would someone rent a
- Dagger of Vengeance = +1 attack
when you can rent a
- Reprisal Sword = +2 attack +1 defense
You also need to keep a set themed to a particular type of player, for example Might Barbarian or Mage Wizard
Once you have one complete set
E.g. lvl 5 Might
You can rent it out as a full set or individual parts, when you start making money you could get another set
E.g. lvl 5 Mage
and so on and so on
But really, what you rent is all up to you and the best things to rent only come from a lot of market experience and I doubt that many traders will share their secrets ...
Good luck trading |
you won't get too much gold from leasing items for levels lower than 7, (except for amulet of luck and rings of inspiration) so i wouldn't recommend even wasting time on buying the low level arts.
sorry for double post |
Suppose I should have written this as well

Even though i used low levels in my example TheMarsh is correct, you get more money from high level arts / sets |
trading secrets?whats that?
well do u think i would be able to lease the high lvl arts fully or will have durability left becauze in that case i lose money.
is there a possibility of standing in the competition?can i grow to what is called a good trader? |
well do u think i would be able to lease the high lvl arts fully
yes
is there a possibility of standing in the competition?
all you have to do to beat the competition is be online a lot or go online frequently to check if you got a message to lease arts. cause i hate when i need to lease something and all the leasers are offline -__-
make sure you make a thread in the leasing part of the forum when you start leasing arts |

Well, you will EVENTUALLY rent all the durability, it may take a while but if you keep playing you will rent it all off, if you stop playing I don't think you will care that much
is there a possibility of standing in the competition?
At the moment there is still room to "undercut" the opposition (Give a cheaper price), HOWEVER don't write that you did that :)
can i grow to what is called a good trader?

oooooh, 2 seconds in it :P |
I have even better advice and that is look at current leasers instead of listening to a bunch of people who barely have any experience leasing arts or don't do it at all. Go to the leasing and renting section of the forums. Then take a look around; this will be your study hall for learning how to be an averagely successful leaser. Look at the successful leasers and study them. What makes them more successful than the others? Is it the way their forum topic is organized? Or is it because they are online more? Or is it that their prices are the cheapest? Or is it because they know another language like Russian? Or is it because they are in many clans? And etc. Learn to ask yourself these things when doing practically anything. Then look at the less successful leasers and study them too. Why don't they have so much business? Is it because their prices are too high? Is it due to their topic? Is it the arts they choose to lease? Are they in many clans? How often are they online? How popular are they amongst other people in the forum? And etc. Gather as much information as you can; look at transfer logs, character profiles, prices on markets, the topics they have, and etc. Look at how much profit people are making by comparing it to the price per battle at lordswm.org, and see which artifacts are more profitable, which are more often rented as they are not the same. There's a lot to it, but the best way to learn is to first learn from others and then learn from your own experience(self made failures and success). Good luck and I hope I was helpful. |
first of all find price per battle of each art and repair cost and find the best profitable arts
each art give you some profit from leasing though higher lvl arts give more profit |
thank u everybody for ur help.
tell me some items which i can buy right now at this moment.
let me start atleast with 3-4 arts and the popular ones like maybe respiral sword or anything.
just names of 3-4 good profitable budget arts |
Do you pay attention? Read again everything i posted and everyone else posted. You won't make much gold from most low level artifacts but if u cant wait to lease, then get amulet of luck and rings of inspiration. Reprisal sword might be ok too |
get defender shield ,rings of doubts or inspiration , and amulet of luck if you really want 5-10 gold profit per art
imo wait till you can buy lvl 7 arts as most people cant afford those high prices arts so they lease |
lvl 7 arts r too too much expensive will lvl 5 arts do it? |
and ya what about the hunter and master hunter sets |
and ya what about the hunter and master hunter sets
People only normally rent these for record hunts or really hard MG quests. |
so good to keep it with me? |
are lvl 5 arts worth to start with? |
for DarkAtom: Listen to what people are saying
To sum up this thread.
Steps for new leaser:
1) Look at competition - Work out who's good and why + make competitive prices
2) Work out which arts to rent - The higher level arts, the more money you make
4) What about Hunter arts? - You can make quite a bit of money off renting a hunter set especially if you didn't pay to get any bit of it, BUT not many people use them
FAQ
Will I be able to rent out all the durability of my art or will I have some left over?
Well, you will EVENTUALLY rent all the durability, it may take a while but if you keep playing you will rent it all off, if you stop playing I don't think you will care that much
Is there any hope of competing with others in the LordsWM trading scene?
There is always room to "undercut" the opposition (Give a cheaper price), HOWEVER never write that you have cheaper prices than someone else
Will I ever be known as a good trader?

Which low level arts are the best to rent
Determined by this thread: Amulet of Luck, Ring of Inspiration, Ring of Doubts
How much should I rent my arts for?
Work out how much it will cost per battle to use.
A SIMPLE formula (no complaints about repairing please he is only level 3)
([Price to buy] - [Sell to Empire amount]) / [Durability of art]
Here are the selling prices of all SHOP arts
