It gets aggravating when someone starts a card game and then you have to wait over a long time for them to accept. I believe that several will wait for someone to join their game and sit a wait for several minutes hoping that the person who joins forgets and they then start the game. This way they will get an easy win and win the gold coins.
I suggest that if someone starts a game, they have to hit a response that shows they are online or near their PC to start the game. Else the game is cancelled after 1 minute if they do not accept. Too many people will start a game and others will join only to waste their time with insensitive people who waste our time waiting for them to accept. | Shouldn't this be in Ideas and Suggestions?

you can cancel that game and select other opponent. or, you can start your own challenge. | Topic moved from "Complaints and applications - Violations in tavern and battles" to "Ideas and suggestions". | you have to wait over a long time for them to accept.

i think you guys misunderstand Oysar (or I do).
how I read his post:
1) someone sets up a cardgame
2) someone else joins that game
3) game-starter waits a loooong time, but with a strategy in mind: that the joiner forgets (s)he joined that game
4) starter actually starts the game and wins, either by time-out, or because of the head start
ofcourse, the joiner can cancel that game, but that would mean (s)he didn't forget (s)he joined in the first place.
that being said, I'd say it's the responsibiliy of the joiner.

most of the time, in such a situation, I go stand at the window, light a sigarette, keeping an eye on the screen... or go browsing in another tab keeping an eye on the tavern-tab to see if it changed to 'card game'...
but yeah, in both cases I simply didn't forget I joined.
I'd like to take this opportunity to point to one of my own suggestions, about almost the same situation, but exactly the other way around... :)
