What threads?
You can close Threads that you self have created. There is a button just underneath the last post in the thread |
coz i have to make changes to create now ones
can you explain what you mean by this? |
means i have to change price of things |
ah, you were talking about the trading branches of the forum, specifically local rule 5:
If the objective of the thread is achieved, or the thread loses its topicality, it is recommended to write about it in the thread and lock it. There is no need to contact a moderator requesting a deletion.
Like Khel said, you can close threads that you self have created. There is a button just underneath the last post in the thread
My question then would be: do you need to wait for a closed, not-topical thread, to disappear from the first page, in order to not breach local rule 3?
(LR3: More than two topics of one TS in the first branch page is forbidden. Bumping the third thread will lead to banning the person responsible for the bump.) |

This is a question even I would like to know. If I want to change the price in the title, I have no other option than to delete, and this is not done with the sole intention of bringing the thread to the top. |
my workaround for that situation is easy:
1) close your topic
2) bump orderly other active threads (=from first on page 2 to second on page 1, assuming yours is 1st on page 1) until yours disappear on page 2
3) post new topic. |
If there is a difference in your thread header and service you can do that. lock the old one and start the new one.
You can ask us mods directly for this too. :-) |
adding to my previous post:
I hope you don't mean an item price or something which you may want to change a lot. in that case your thread is not changing but the price. that you can do inside the thread. |
