| Cannot access the statistics screen for all lords/ladies in the top players tab, why is this? |

| In the top players tab, there is no place for overall rankings. Though there used to be a site, I don't know what, which gave the player rankings earlier, but it is not controlled by admins, so its basically useless as it works no more :( |

There's no reason that the old site must stop working while the new site is being developed. I'm certain that it takes minimal effort to maintain the old site. Isn't it just a matter of having a scheduled task to run a script to update the statistics every day? |
Yes, but the new site would not need to be developed if the old one continued working ;)
As Dragoneater said, players have tried numerous times to contact the owner of the statistics page to get the page working again and they have not responded. |

Hm. Then how do you know he is in the process of creating a new site?
I just can't fathom a reason. I had assumed that the player no longer cares enough to maintain it, and that the site is gone for good, at least until he's in the mood to bring it back up. But you said he's creating a new site, to which I thought, why? It can't be a technical reason, since the old site was working just fine before. If he's trying to make improvements, then, as I said before, there's no reason to take down the site while that's happening.
The only other thing I can think of is, it's financial reason (i.e. LITWIN could not find someone to host the for free). If so, then, clans "Angels and Demons" and "Warriors Guild Wrath", among others, should be able to help, since they have their own websites, and I assume it costs them little or nothing.
I agree with Danzi. If it doesn't work (and it hasn't for a long time), then the admins should just remove the link; that takes so, so little work. <sigh> Yet another sign of neglect, I guess. |

The previous statistics site was run by a player named "Xaser" on .ru, not Litwin. ^^ Litwin is creating a new site because Xaser's does not work anymore. |

I do not think it is a cost issue. It does not cost a lot to rent a place on a sever. Both the original statistics site, LITWINs site and Warriors Guild Wrath are running on paid or owned servers with their own domain name. Only Angels & Demons is using freeforums.org. I guess that LITWIN is not renting but actually owns his server.
I think most of the people here that are not programmers themselves understand the amount of work it takes to make such a statistics site. I am amazed at the hours LITWIN has done to make www.lordswm.org. It is really a great commitment that we all should be very grateful for. |
