| black dragons are immune to magic but still they take damage from magic punch and lightning spells why is that??? | Magic punch deals pysical damage.
Lightning will deal damage if you have arts ,which In addition grant **%pierce through magic resistances when casting spells. | weapon such as Ruby quarterstaff and Firebender staff grant **%pierce through magic resistances when casting spells.

but the damage deal to black dragon is too low compare to magic punch since it is physical damage |
