I am considering doing some low tiers {0} monster quests,
most of those have around 1.8 - 2k hp
I'll probably be attempting them in 4sp 4kn condition (56 magic arrow base dmg, 10 times)
So at the moment (fl3, making it 140 dmg per arrow), that would be a total of 1.4k dmg
My question is:
Should I wait until I reach fl4 (168dmg per arrow)?
Because at fl3, my troop will have to deal 600dmg in total,
I'll get 240 from magi at best
Then that leaves 360 dmg from golems and garg, but because the monsters will have such a high stats, I doubt that my troop will be able to reach that theshold before being reduced to too few a number
If I wait for fl4, I only need 320 dmg from my troop, which is a much more safe and achievable feat imo | Well, you may do T1 quests, as farmers monster or gremlins. Something slow and weak.
You are not too far from fsp 4, so, it is better to wait before you start doing monsters. If you want to do it with fsp 3, you should wear more AP :/ | At level 6 u will rock in monster quest because of Mana recovery i advice u to wait till Level 6! | wow, didn't expect such quick replies, thanks guys =]
I agree it's rather risky w/ fl3
I guess i'll wait for fl4 after all =], don't want to spend too much on AP either as there's very limited option of arts for magic build at CL5
@wiz^32 haha, that'll be sth nice to look forward to then
right now I'll just wait for fl4 to take on easy ones and then aim a bit higher at lv6 :D | up | Is (pure) might wizard better than the magic one? Have someone tried it? | depends on the level.
Up to lvl 7, there is no reason to go might. Golems are slow, and the rest of your troops too weak. Of course engineers help - a little - but still magic is your stronger option.
Lvls 8 to 10 are the switch time: there you start getting genies and modern golems. With the help of raise dead, you can start making a might army that can stand opponents. Beyond that level, might is, in my opinion, a better choice than magic.
Of course, you will still keep a couple SP in power and mana, and maybe sacrifice some talent points in nature to cast elementals and raise a bit better, but for the rest, due to luck, you will fare better off with a might build.
Only exception to this is if you are playing a team battle as a support character, in that case your magic skill being the best out there, magic remain an option to consider. | heLlO..evEryOne Although em with wizrds frm last 3 years but never remembered what are the best arrangement tht i can make wit troops...also please tell me best usage of talnt points nd yes artifacts really gets confused at times wht is better...:P :)
thnks...:D | Well, I use:
Max magi -> max grems engineer -> max golems -> recruit rest of gargs.
Magi will deal punch damage for your enemy, good to have him. Grems will deal extra damage and are not easy to kill (and still can repair golems), so I think they are good, especially 'cause they have 11 ini, and can go before many monsters. Golems can be replaced by gargs, but I prefer them 'cause are strong and can be repaired. Gargoleys I have some left, to block or fly if needed.
Or you can use max magi, gargs, golems, grems.
Talents? Mana recovery for sure ;) | hehehe!!...by the way i dont have grem. eng. yet..lolz..by the way magis r easy to be killed they get destroyed in seconds...??..nd Golems r hell slow now left gargoyels they can effect a lot..untill u have mana great mana!!... | Well, it depends in how you protect them. Golems are really slow, I have to agree, but, they are strong, and enemy will want to use a retal taker before attacking him. Also, grems can give a second life for them. Magi die fast, maybe yes, just make sure you do enough damage for the right troop, with them.
I still prefer this build suggested above for levels 5-7, but as you don't have engeeners, try the second one. | yaah i dnt have else option till lvl 9 i have to starve over MG and hunts and simple ST and such where wizards can have their full power hell..but i love this faction a lot hehe..thanx by the way :-) :-D.. | You can do pvp with this build mate, I just suggested the strongest one, imo, for that ;)
Ps: If you like it now, wait for level 9 with your mass reserve of genies, you'll love it :) | hey..i like wizard a lot... em not gonna leave it any how it have many difficut progress..:D :D..by the way please type tht lvl 9 imo. again for us..:D...this thread dies to early..:) | Hm, I didn't understand the last part of your post... You want a description of how is level 9? =)
this thread dies to early..:)
Wizards know the magical sciences, and they have their books to find everything that is needed. They don't need a thread like this one :P | at CL6 i can kill some monsters but i feel too shy to face some tire 1 creature- raid who stealing manna from me :P | for lvl 7 tournament should a wizard wear pendent of despair or amulet of luck A mage wiz not a might one! | for suvobh:
I used it as a luxury item (luxury meaning high priced but not very useful so I didn't use it often) because I had no other better option, but you can live without it :D.
So a wizard may wear a pendant of despair if he wants more AP or he just wants full build, but it's not that he 'should' wear it. | for suvobh:
If you can afford, pendant of despair is better, imo. The 5% ini is useful, and you will gain +1 att and def, which isn't random as luck is :P | up |
