best style is to do only hunts till lvl 4 , bcos hunts comes in 5-15 mins
from lvl 4+ if you want you can play duels.. |

It all depends on both your faction and ennemy's, as well as the builds used. Destruction is the only pure defensive build, but you can't use it as a necro. |

Lots of plaing maps, tavern cards and playing with other players in group battles and duels. not a good advice with mercenary guild though. |
I think arent duels are a waste of AP because-
Necro duels at lvl5 last for around 30mins
Winning gives 1000-1500exp
2vs2 GBs last 1 hour at lvl5
Winning team guys get 2000 exp atleast
Means saving AP

Depends on the level of your patience.
1v1: you wait for 1 player before you can move;
2v2: you wait for 3 other players before you can move;
3v3: you wait for 5 other players before you can move;
Are you willing to wait for your turn longer or not? That is the question... |
