Hi all, I was away from the game for a while.
As I recall, in cooperative hunting, 2 guys share the total experience if they kill roughly the same amount of monster.
Is that still the same?
I had a different distribution today:
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=504864161 | Around the anniversary there were slight changes. Most hunts remain the same in which if both hunters kill equal amounts, they share the exp.
However, after the anniversary, they changed it slightly so that in easier hunts, the assister got a higher value of exp, even if they killed the same number as the one asking for assistance.

The idea seems to be that assisters should no longer use other players' very simple hunts to farm a good exp/fsp ratio. | Just in addition to that answer, here is an example of where the assister can kill less and still get more experience than the one asking for assistance. Again, the hunt was a very simple one.
